Green Class 2024 - Andavakimena

Every year, NGO JADE shapes the future of young people through its "Green Class" project. The 2024 edition, held in the Andavakimena and Ambila Lemaitso forest in Madagascar, allowed young city dwellers to immerse themselves in the heart of nature. The main objective remains raising awareness of environmental protection, through education and hands-on field experience, while fostering an awakening to sustainable development and civic values.

The team, made up of passionate members and young participants, carried out a variety of activities: excursions, hikes, swimming, environmental education sessions, team building, and cultural exchange. This dynamic not only enriched participants' knowledge but also strengthened group cohesion, encouraging the discovery of new places and unique experiences.

The project actively contributes to a new culture of respect and love for the environment, while highlighting the importance of collective action in achieving significant change. Participants were able to evaluate each stage of the stay, providing valuable feedback to constantly improve quality and organization.

Every year, NGO JADE aims to broaden its impact, make the activity accessible thanks to the support of partners and sponsors, and continue on the path of educational innovation. The 2024 edition proved rewarding, with promising prospects for the future, notably the discovery of new sites and the integration of ever more sustainable and inclusive practices.
