Sys Bootcamp 2021

NGO JADE organized SYS BOOTCAMP 2021, a training course introducing GNU/Linux, which took place at the NGO's headquarters from December 13 to 17, 2022, as the first phase of "Open Days 2021". Led by MIRATINA Quincy, an IT professional and active member of the NGO, the training aimed to enable participants to get to grips with the Linux operating system, particularly its installation. Over 32.5 hours, participants were introduced to hands-on exercises for better assimilation of the concepts.

This training allowed participants to acquire technical computing skills, particularly in the use and installation of the GNU/Linux operating system. It also had the educational aim of giving them a better understanding of GNU/Linux's key concepts for better adaptation to the Linux environment. Participants also learned to use Linux-specific programming tools, such as shell commands, for more effective operating system management.

Beyond technical training, SYS BOOTCAMP 2021 also aimed to strengthen participants' communication and teamwork skills. Indeed, they were invited to work in teams on concrete projects, applying the skills acquired during the training. This approach allowed participants to learn interactively and develop their ability to work in a group to solve problems.
