Open days 2022

The ICT Day and Free Software Promotion organized by NGO JADE was held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Grande Salle of C.E.D.I from 8 am to 12 pm. Twelve speakers from different organizations, students or professionals, presented a specific topic on technology, open source, or as a presentation of their IT company. The aim of this day was to share experience and knowledge about ICT and free software, and to allow local young IT professionals and anyone interested to network.

The session was moderated by THOUSSIN Fidelice, an active member of NGO Jade, and was supported by various IT companies and professional entities in the field, such as Ketrika High Tech, Kabruga DIGIT, DNA Webhosting, Reflet HQD, Madagascar Blockchain Academy, Elite Communication, ARCKI, CGI Tafita, Koloaina, AGIR (Atelier de Génie Informatique et Recherche) and Mr. RATOMBOTIANA Judicaël.

Around 82 people took part during the day of panel discussions, which allowed participants to discover new aspects of ICT and free software, acquire new knowledge and share their experience. The twelve presentations were very well received by participants, whether for the company presentations or the open source topics.

The impact of this day was very positive, providing an opportunity for local IT professionals and people interested in ICT to meet, share their passion and expertise, and strengthen their professional network. Participants appreciated the quality of the presentations, the fruitful exchanges with speakers and other participants, and expressed their wish to take part in future initiatives of this kind organized by NGO JADE.
