COP 15 Copenhagen Conference: Our Climate is Changing, and Us?
The Copenhagen Conference, held in 2009, was a key moment for raising awareness of the climate emergency. This event brought together delegates from 192 countries to discuss the actions needed to fight climate change. In this context, the NGO JADE (Jeunes Actifs pour le Développement) organized a live videoconference from COP15, broadcast at the Alliance française de Tamatave in partnership with Ambatovy. This videoconference allowed young people in the region to better understand climate issues and to learn about the actions being taken to address them.
The Alliance française de Tamatave thus hosted this event on December 12, 2009 at 4:30 PM. Participants were able to discuss the impacts of climate change on our planet and the importance of taking action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Thanks to this event, the NGO JADE was able to further raise the population's awareness of the need to act to fight climate change.
