Computer Workshop - 2022

NGO Jade is committed to children's computer education in Madagascar through a computer workshop organized in 2022. This training took place in two waves, from July 4 to 31, 2022 and from August 18 to 29, 2022, at the Alliance Française in Tamatave. The main objective was to inform toddlers, children and teenagers about the benefits of using computers and to help them better understand information and communication technologies.

Thanks to this workshop, the 446 participants (toddlers, children and teenagers) were able to develop their interest in the field of computer science. This training is a way for NGO Jade to contribute to the education and development of Malagasy children. Indeed, in a world where computing is increasingly present, it is essential to give children the chance to become familiar with information and communication technologies from a very young age.

Beyond learning computer skills, this workshop allowed children to develop their creativity, analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. In addition, participants were able to discover new skills and future prospects. NGO Jade thus continues its mission of youth development by young people and for young people through this educational initiative, which aims to give Malagasy children the tools to succeed in an increasingly connected world.

In short, the computer workshop organized by NGO Jade in 2022 is proof of the NGO's commitment to the education and development of children in Madagascar. This training allowed toddlers, children and teenagers to learn more about the benefits of using computers and to better understand information and communication technologies.
