Treasurer of the JADE NGO

I am VAVISOA Nolida Priscilla, a student at ISSEDD, the "Higher Institute of Sciences, Environment & Sustainable Development". I have great admiration for environmental protection and social development. I chose to join ONG JADE for its educational mission, which aims to school disadvantaged children in rural areas of the former Province of Toamasina.
JADE's values, notably their promotion of entrepreneurship for young people and their efforts to raise awareness of environmental issues in
urban areas, are aligned with my own aspirations.

Experience

January 2026–present: Treasurer of the JADE NGO

Oversee financial management, ensuring that financial resources are managed effectively, transparently, and responsibly.
Monitor the NGO's project expenses, ensuring they comply with the NGO's budgets and standards.
Provide regular financial reports to partners, donors, and local authorities, ensuring that financial information is accurate and transparent.
Assess the financial viability of the NGO's projects, ensuring they are financially sustainable in the long term and proposing solutions to improve their financial viability.

February 2024 – January 2026: Project Coordinator of JADE NGO

Ensure coordination between the teams working on the NGO's projects, making sure all activities are integrated and shared objectives are achieved.
Manage human resources, ensuring that volunteers are recruited, trained, motivated, and evaluated effectively.
Coordinate with partners from other organizations, institutions, and businesses to strengthen the NGO's capacities and increase its impact.
Ensure monitoring and evaluation of the projects
Take on specific responsibilities related to the NGO's projects, such as budget or human resource management, ensuring that activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.

January 2022 – January 2023: Mivelogna Staff – Monitoring Officer

Regularly monitor the progress of the beneficiaries' project activities, ensuring that deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
Document project results, including data collection and analysis, drafting monitoring and evaluation reports, and presenting the results to the NGO.

September 2021: Selected as active member

Take part in carrying out project tasks
Contribute to research and data collection on social and environmental issues, community needs, and possible solutions.
Take part in awareness campaigns on environmental issues and the promotion of ICT tools (Information and Communication Technology)

Take part in meetings, training sessions, and workshops to strengthen their professional skills and gain new knowledge about the NGO's projects
Carry out monitoring and evaluation by collecting data and preparing reports to help the NGO improve its programs and achieve its goals.
